Real Love

Nelson Mandela once said “No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.”

It's amazing how love works and can literally change lives. I have seen many people do some of the craziest things, (I do not exclude myself lol), for the simple gesture of love. See, it does not matter if we did it consciously or subconsciously, we are all wired for this very precious, undeniable, powerful, and crazy four letter word called love. How we go about seeking it or giving it can very from person to person and culture.

Truth be told the cycle of love will never end. It will continue as long as we are human and live the human experience. As long as friendships exists, families gather, babies being born, chocolate remains forever, weddings taking place, celebrations of birthday's, accomplishments, success, sad moments, funerals, hospital visits, accidents, you name it, love will be in the cycle.

What Mandela mentions is that no one is born hating and that hating or being hateful is taught. I believe he's right. And the same applies with love, as he states, one can be taught to love. Love can be hard too. I do not have the time to write it all here, but sometimes one must realize that regardless of one's experience, we must not stop loving because love ultimately never fails. People fail, relationships fail, marriages fail, businesses fail, systems fail, government fail, leaders fail, the best of the best even fail, but above all, love never fails.

Therefore, before jumping in, I have learned it is great never to rush into love until it's right time. Before jumping in, remember that it will not always be sunshine and roses, storms will come, tough moments will come, but we must not give up on love. Love covers a great deal, love never gives up, love never stops, and love will conquer all. I may return with a second part to this, until then, keep on loving.
